Principal and Managing DirectorCandice Crawford McCalop brings two decades of experience in the professional services industry, where she has established herself as a results-oriented leader committed to driving impact through innovative solutions and sustainable growth. Her extensive expertise encompasses financial management, human resources, operations, and organizational development, making her a valuable asset to small businesses and social impact organizations.
Throughout her career, Candice has managed multi-million-dollar budgets, developed talent strategies, and significantly enhanced operational efficiencies. Her roles have consistently involved strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Candice is passionate about fostering continuous improvement and development, evident through her initiatives in performance evaluations and talent management. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Spelman College, a Master of Public Administration from City University of New York- Baruch College, and a certification in Nonprofit Financial Management from Columbia University. She is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Management from Georgia State University.

Principal and Managing Director, FinanceNicolas McCalop is the co-founder and CFO of Fifth District Solutions, bringing a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the team. With an impressive background spanning over 17 years in finance and operations, Nicolas has honed his expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and business process optimization across various industries. Nicolas holds an MBA with a concentration in Strategy and Finance from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and a BA in Finance/Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Morehouse College. His professional journey includes significant roles at prestigious firms such as NASDAQ, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Scott Madden, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, and Citigroup. In these roles, he has led initiatives that resulted in substantial cost savings, process improvements, and strategic advancements for his clients.
